Today is Children In Need day

When the UK goes completely bonkers, as do the television schedules as fundraising takes on a huge part of the day.. even the radio this week has been having an auction of items you simply couldn't buy like 45 mins with Mark Knoppfler.

For more details : Pudsey

Unlike many charity fund raising events, the proceeds go to UK based charities who provide grants to organisations working with children who may have experienced mental, physical or sensory disabilities; behavioural or psychological disorders; are living in poverty or situations of deprivation; or suffering through distress, abuse or neglect.

So if you do nothing else today, tune into BBC1 and watch the sheer fun of it all.

ps - It's Prince Charles's 60th Birthday today, do you think he will get his free bus pass?

I'm loving Children In Need on the telly.

It's things like this that make me wish I had cable again. Actually they should make cable pay per view. I only pay for it when I watch. One show at a time.

Would Prince Charles even take the bus?
