Meur ras onen hag oll

or Thank you one and all

Yesterday I passed the 10,000 visitor mark since I started this blog... I wasn't certain when I started this that anyone would be interested or entertained by my scribbles and really didn't consider why I was doing it other than a need to write.

To those of you who have visited in the past, Meur ras, may we have many more days of laughter, joy and smiles. To those who have yet to visit, or have just made your first visit, Dynnargh and enjoy the ride.

You might have wondered about the title of this post, well one of my hobbies is to learn new languages, and this time I have turned my aging brain to learning Kernow for no other reason than it is nice to have something to do and might come in useful for the future.

Many congrats on reaching the 10,000 visits. I'm sure the Cornish will be well impressed with you when you move down here, which I'm sure you will very soon.

And well done for learning Kernow - 2 and a half years down here and I still have trouble understanding LOL x

Congratulations on your visitors and on learning Kernow. I have a smattering of Irish and thought I might be able to see some similarity but,no, not in those words anyway.

Kernow is more similar to the welsh language or as I heard it described, welsh spoken with a cornish accent... some of it is true but some words definitely don't seem to have any connection as far as I could see.. I might not be able to speak it well, but I am at least aiming to be able to read/write it.
